Seminar #5: Craig Johnson, Virtual Law Partners
Wired GC continues its series of web seminars entitled “Off The Meter” about the changing nature of the law and the legal services market.
Our fifth seminar is entitled “Virtual Lawyers, Tangible Value”, and features Craig Johnson, CEO and Co-Founder of Virtual Law Partners, and will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at 1:30 PM EDT/10:30 AM PDT. VLP is a fast-growing, virtually-based law firm launched last year that now has 38 partners in five states.
Craig will provide an update on VLP’s growth and discuss how its business model is resonating with clients and potential new virtual partners during these challenging economic times.
He was interviewed last year as a part of the Wired GC - Unplugged podcast series shortly after the launch of VLP; that podcast is available here.
There will be 30 minutes of concise content and incisive discussion, available via the web right on your desktop.
This series is sponsored by The Vallex Fund, a venture fund focused on investing in the legal services market and supporting entrepreneurs who want to make a difference.
There is no charge for this series, but you do need to confirm your interest in attending by registering here. Full seminar archives will be available to registrants who are unable to attend. Registrants will also receive a copy of a white paper entitled “Changing the Law: Metrics and Milestones,” written by Ronald Gruner of The Vallex Fund and John Wallbillich of Lexvista LLC and the Wired GC.
Every other month, legal industry leaders will provide insight into where the smart insiders are going and how they will get there.
